Highlights of days 46 and 47 in the Big Brother house managed to receive higher ratings than the previous weekend.

Highlights of days 46 and 47 in the Big Brother house managed to receive higher ratings than the previous weekend.

Lauren’s eviction on Friday secured 1.35 million viewers (excluding +1), and the weekend shows performed as expected with high +1 ratings.

Saturday

Highlights of day 46 averaged 886,000 viewers (4.4%) at 9PM.

An additional 125,000 viewers on Channel 5+1  brings the total audience to 1.01m. Six Saturday shows this series have now rated above the 1 million mark, whereas only three managed to in 2011.

Sunday

Yesterday, 1.24m (5.7%) tuned into Channel 5 at 9PM, with an extra 155,000 viewers on timeshift giving the episode a total rating of 1.40m.

This was a good improvement on the previous Sunday’s 1.25m (including +1), and helped Channel 5 beat BBC2 in the overall primetime audience shares.

Big Brother continues tonight at 9PM.
