With Big Brother 2012 fast approaching, Channel 5 have release this year’s official presenter promo shots to the media.

They include Brian Dowling, who again will be the Big Brother presenter as well as Emma Willis, who will front spin-off show Big Brother’s Bit On The Side. Alice Levine and Jamie East who also host Bit On The Side have also got in on the action unlike last year.

The promo shots this year have gone for a simplistic, but smart vibe. Last year was more party themed with the return of the show after being axed from ‘the other side’.

I really like the promo images this year. Although Brian needs to learn to relax. He looks so stiff in image 5.

I like the above ideas A lot! I also think a forum about releases that need to hapepn, I mean stuff that you know is just languishing in a vault somewhere, but for some reason just aren’t hapepning. Matt’s written at length about stuff like that, how the window of opportunity for vintage releases/reissues won’t last forever. Maybe another forum about finding good, truly worthwhile new music for people (like me) who tend to be stubborn about newer music and cling to their tried and true old stuff. It might be newer stuff from older, classic artists that’s been criminally ignored, or it might be something truly new (or new to you ) that you didn’t know about. The recent Springsteen threads got me thinking about that. Magic, and almost everything Bruce has done since the 80 s (the wonderful Seeger Sessions aside) has left me cold. But is their another Springsteen out there? There will probably never be another Born To Run, but is there someone out there who brings that same excitement? If so, I’d like to hear about him/her/them.
I’m glad Emma is still with BB, although I would have liked to see her presenting BB and Brian Bit on the side. Alice Levine is a nice looking woman, but I didn’t feel she contributed much to the last series. Whoever they have as presenters, please, please, no more Pete Burns.
Of course there’s gonna be more Pete Burns, it’s the only job he can get.
There BETTER be more Pete Burns! Admit it, without the controversy he provides, the show wouldn’t be what it is.
Indeed I would like to see Emma replace Brian, but on the other hand, I don’t know if I could handle 5 days per week of Brian on BOTS. Can only stand seeing him only 1-2 times per week. Don’t get me wrong, the guy is likeable, but I don’t think he gets to say what’s on his mind, seems like he’s always reading from a script.
I think you are right about Brian.In the past he has always been so natural and full of fun.He is not very good at following a script so is not being him self.
Yes Tombolian,,there are lots of people would have liked to see Emma as main presenter,, but i read in paper today that she did apply for it,, but didn’t get it,,she says i am so pleased now that i didn’t ,,she said i love doing BBOTS….

Reports in todays Daily Star say,,that the house is going to be bigger than ever,,,with Hot tub and swimming pool in the garden…There is also speculation that the house may be crammed with the greatest ever number of housemates….and …On launch night the contestants can expect a big twist, the minute they enter the house, they’ll have to make a decision which will have a massive impact on their time in the house!!!!
