Nominations change for BB11
Viewers will still decide who is evicted
There will be a change to the nominations procedure for BB11, according to creative director Phil Edgar Jones.
Since Big Brother began ten years ago, the nominations procedure has largely remained the same throughout. Each housemate has had to nominate two people, and the two or more housemates with the most nominations have faced eviction.
However, there will be a change to the format in the upcoming series according to Jones.
Speaking on the Digital Spy forums, he said: “We have some new ideas around noms which we’d like to try out at the start.”
He went on to say that the new procedure “will be fair” and that fans should “wait and see” what the changes are, before making any comments about it.
As with all the series, Jones promised that it will be the viewers who will ultimately decide who leaves the house.
Jones said: “Rest assured you’ll decide who goes.”
What could this change to the nominations format be? One suggestion is that they could adopt the US format where the winner of a task could be immune from eviction.

They should do what they do in Australia and have a points system. 2 points for the person who the housemate hates the most. 1 point for the other housemate. Add up all the points and the two/three people with the most points get nominated. Hope I make sense lol!
Big brother Finland also use same system then austaralia use. But it gives housemate more power because then peopele who housemate don´t like get more votes. Maybe they use same eviction system what we have – this year. Our wiewers can send + and – votes. That way you can allways suport your favoret directly.
Why ‘try new things’ for the last one?
Should have done all this before the axe, then they could have been a BB12.
PEJ has poor judgement (just look at who he is putting in). Viewers allowed to choose? Like when they voted out X/Y/Z only for them to be returned weeks later. I am about to write BBs obituary.
wish they would leave nominations alone and i hope they dont allow them to talk about it i liked it better when they got punished for talking about them
I think that they should do the Spainsh system, instead of nominating 2 hm’s now they’ll nominate 3, giving the 1st hm 3pts the 2nd gets 2 and 3rd gets 1 and they should not nominate every week and also they should do it on the main Friday show instead than during the course of the week.
