Romeo has become the seventh housemate to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother as part of the surprise double eviction night.
Romeo Dunn rose to fame in the early noughties as a member of the garage group, So Solid Crew. A London boy, Romeo and the group had a string of top ten hits including “Oh No (Sentimental Things)” and “21 Seconds”, which reached number one in the UK singles charts in August 2001.
He managed to last 21 days in the Celebrity Big Brother house, during which he kept fit in the gym with Welsh rugby player Gareth Thomas and stayed clear of arguments.
Upon leaving Romeo told Brian Dowling “Walking out to a good reception I just felt blessed”.

At least though Micro you can see him on BOTS. He is a handsome lad and a gentleman as everyone has said. I love the way that Jamie said for selfish reasons he would have liked the twins or Michael out so that he could spend more time with them.
Microsis, I feel for you. Romeo was perhaps the most decent and well behaved person ever to enter the BB house – but thats not what the GBP will vote for. They seem to enjoy watching confrontation and Romeo was the peacemaker. Quite honestly, he was too good for that house. Frankie will probably go on to win – or even Denise! which I feel is a travesty. Frankie has grown in the house and been well mentored by Romeo and Michael, but to say he deserves to win……? May do him more harm than good in the long run.
Hi Sammy I agree with your comments, someone asked would Frankie spend the winnings on drugs? I loved the way that Michael took him under his wing and hopefully he will be able to show him the pitfalls, pitfalls which he has definitely experienced. There is a cd to download on line re Michael, the original was sold out long ago. It tells of his life story in a type of poetry. He has a lovely speaking lilt one which is very acceptable. Two of the things which I heard him say…..he talked about a father with an unmarked grave and a mother who went off with another man. He has definitely learnt the hard way.
I definitely fear for Denise, with all the adulation it is saying that she is right but, she needs help. Surely she isnt going to go on tour with Romeo? In what capacity, we havent heard anything about that. Her little speech there seemed rather strange, ie “the public had to get him out so that he can go and make the arrangements”?
Whilst I liked Romeo I was a bit miffed that he insinuated that Michael “instigated” the pantsgate row. He wasnt even there at one stage so were we shown wrong? I dont think so but I know that Denise is his favourite and I felt that that little dig was unnecessary. Sorry Micro, just that one little thing love.

Have’nt watched all of it yet, Jules. If Romeo said that about Michael then we certainly have not see the whole story! Looked back at my recordings and Michael was asleep in the bedroom when it all kicked off – and only came through when Niclola and Denise were going at it. The only comment we heard him make was to say that Niclola had asked the group if she should shred the oppositions letters before she did it. Denise was forgetting that they had 15 minutes to think about it before the buzzer went off – so it was not one minute as she said. Michael just corrected that fact and walked off. So Romeo should not have said that…..imo
Yes Sammy you are right, that is exactly as I saw it so why did Romeo say such a thing? Instigated means started mind you had Michael pulled the twins pants down there would have been an uproar from the public and the house itself. One of the Jedward twins was criticised for touching someones bikini in jest. They were minxs and I love them to bits but they were reprimanded by the rest of the HMs. It was well out of order….
He was very well controlled I was pleased with him tbh. He kept out of it as did Gareth and Romeo. This imo is what the men should have done and yet some are slating them for not standing up for Denise. On the other hand why not stand up for Nicola or one of the twins as it was Denise who made the first error. Regardless of fawning and apologies it could have cooled down. Mind you it must be hard in that house, especially with different characters.

Ahhh Biddy. Don’t cry. I didn’t want Romeo to win as I didn’t feel that he had contributed enough, but for him to come 6th, and looking at the housemates who are still in there (the twins, Michael), I feel it is a ridiculous result. xx
Oh no Michael imo deserves to be there Fudge, he has kept the show going, Romeo though he is a good looking fellow, quiet and non assuming in some ways, was not a winner. He is also very gullible. The forums was full of chat about the twins and Michael and they were the two favourites at one time. Many were dead against Denise who has only come into her own with her argument against Nicola and the twins. As I have said Nicola came in there and the public had a preconceived idea of her. Having said that though she has been kept in by the HMs, she has never had to face the public. Outside influences seem to have gained control over disputes between so called celebrities. I would guess that Nicola has made a lot of enemies and they are now coming to the aid of Denise. They have taken sides.
Never mind Biddy he was the nicest there and got a good reception.
I was totally shocked when Romea was evicted. He was getting such a huge roar from outside the house when Brian mentioned his name … such a shame. AND WHO THE HELL IS VOTING FOR THE TWINS ???

to see the twins still in the house it shows the kind off people voting sad low lifes this is why this country is in a bad way people cannot afford to pay to heat their houses yet there is people out there that can afford to spend money keeping the twins in how sad is that
For goodness sake we could say the same about the people who are keeping Denise in and Frankie, but we wont because we realise that it is a gameshow. We all have our favourites and we are all entitled to them.

Romeo is a good bloke but boring to watch and in truth he brought nothing to the show at all.

On BB BOTS last night, Natalie was still slagging the twins off. When she got a chance to ask Nicola and Romeo a question, all she asked was “did anyone slag me off in the house after I left?”
Romeo on the other hand was too good to remain in the house. Nicola I think is a lovely person, unfortunately no-one has ever told her it is not what you say but how you say it.
Michael or the Twins to win. Unfortunately Frankie only took Denise’s side to have a go at the twins, I only wish he would change his hairstyle, he always looks as though he has been pulled through a bush by his feet.

I’m very disapointed that Romeo left. He’s been my favourite all the way and while I never expected him to win, I did hope he would make the final three. I can understand the public keeping the twins in earlier in the show (the chance of fireworks) but with only a couple of days to go I did think their time was up. And why Denise is still there and Romeo isn’t I don’t know?
I’m at the point where I really don’t care who wins now, but I hope it’s a Brit, even though I like Michael.
Jenny, i’m with you all the way. Romeo was too good for the house. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out when and how Denise became Mother Theresa? Is it the anti american feeling that is pushing her up the poll – just ‘cos she ” had some fun” with the twins? Dont get it. Only hope is that Micheal is the last man standing.
There are a few nasty comments in the forums about Americans shouldnt be in our shows but as I have said, we go into theirs so what is the difference. If what I have been reading is true then it isnt on tbh. I do feel that there is a clique forming on the outside with the so called celebrities, they have made it really bad for the twins lately. Not so much Michael but I see the past evicted HMs and the likes of Burns and the others just ganging up on the twins. Are our celebrities so great? I dont think so I have gone off of two or three altogether. Wish they hadnt been in there tbh, I could have gone on with my head in the sand
