The Bachelor (US) Prince Lorenzo Borghese was the sixth celebrity housemate to be voted out of Big Brother summer 2012 swiftly followed by actress and soap legend Julie Goodyear.
The two housemates faced the public ‘vote to save,’ alongside actor and Spandau Ballet bassist Martin Kemp, after being nominated by their fellow housemates earlier this week in the final round of nominations.
On leaving the Big Brother house Lorenzo told host Brian Dowling that he didn’t expect to win and added: “I never expected to get this far.” He claimed that actress Julie was desperate to win, “But there are two many strong characters that are a lot more genuine.”
Julie Goodyear, actress and soap legend most famous for her character Bet Lynch in Coronation Street was the second housemate to be evicted from the house. Julie, who received deafening, boos from the crowd, left the house by the ground level exit. During her interview with Brian, Julie said that she loved hearing the boos adding: “Who wants cheers all the time?” “I’m a 70 year old disabled pensioner, I’m so proud I’ve done three weeks,” she beamed. On questioned about her sometimes testy relationship with housemate Coleen Nolan, Julie dismissed any ill feeling. “Coleen was more friendly with the younger girls and then when they left it gave us the chance to bond a bit more,” she said. “Are you annoyed that Coleen is still in,” Brian asked. “Not in the slightest, I wish her luck and love.”
When Julie was shown clips of her time in the house including before and after her nomination she told Brian: “What you see is what you get, take it or leave it.” Brian then mentioned that Julie is known for being a fantastic actress and asked her: “Where you acting?” “This is the real me, sorry about that but it is.”
She spoke of her friendship with comedian and fellow housemate Julian Clary who she hopes will the shoe. “He’s absolutely fantastic, we hit it off straight away, kind, caring, funny, he’s a friend for life.”

Julian should win he has been is own man not in any gangs and was loyal to julie not like harvey who jumped ship as soon as slimey martin told them he dose’nt like what julie has been saying instead of talking to julie no balls ash has’nt got the brain to be able to string two words together without help coleen has had it in for julie from the get go.
I think Julian is brilliant and i would like to see more of him with Coleen, they bounced off of each other in that task. The boat one looks good as well. Well done Julian for being your own person.
Julie is an inspiration and a legend, I would love to think i could still have her zest and attitude for living in about 45 years time. Martin , the worm that turned and Coleen(who would encourage her son to see prostitutes) are vomit inducing , they are so nauseating in their insincerity and desperation to be popular . As for the 3 stooges , are there any men left in my age group? Hope Julie and Julian do a show together.
I would like to see Julian on his own but not with Julie, I sincerely hope he doesnt tbh.

they all heard the crowd chanting julie that made her an easy target for them all to nominate her she only told it how she saw it all those who where put up reacted badly coleen was a lot worse than julie crying for sympathy bitching and moaning where-as julie did it in the diary room not in front of the others bet harvey and ash would have been unconsoleable if they had been up but guess we’ll never know and mike is just a cheat.
I thought it was mean of BOTS to show Martin as the cause of Julie’s demise with the lads. They know what made Martin say it to them. BB mixing it right to the end I guesss. I do believe that the Gods task was the beginning with the public but not necessarily because of Martin. He was looking out for the lads.
Still the lady is ok and that is the main thing, no need to worry about her, as she says she was herself. I guess it wouldnt do for us all to be the same.

martin was putting his gameplan in operation by his ridicule of Julie being manipulative etc but then goes and does what he accused her of by influencing the 2 imbeciles, but marty gets away with it ,because he appeals to desperate older/middle aged women voters taken in by his smarm.

Dont you think that some people look at the qualities in others. Tbh I cannot see a woman being desperate enough to be taken in just for the sake of it. In this day and age the young and the older can like and love someone of different ages. After all we do have our own lives and many of us have young and older people around us. It is a great time.
I personally do not think that was a gameplan, I think he realised. Others will think differently and that is how the cookie crumbles.
I personally wouldnt have minded if Martin had gone and Lorenzo had stayed but I voted for him because I promised that I would. Nevertheless it was mean of BOTS to show that piece, I could see no sense in it at all.

BOTS is as two faced as the worst of HM’s. Emma Willis has said a lot about the HM’s and when she interviews them is totally sycophantic.They also showed Coleen crying in the diary room saying that this was after the first face to face noms.It wasn’t . It was after the last face to face noms. That show drives me up the wall at times and is misrepresentational quite often which is unfair. Good on Lorenzo for not crawling around Julie. He is a genuine guy.

martin has’nt been his self he has been a sneak all along stabbing the others in the back in the gods task he was slagging off and giving the others ammo to fire but did not have the balls to say things himself a sneak.

couldn’t get on this site last night for some reasons.
BOTS did show Martin in a bad light . He warned the boys that “if they took things a step further than Julie” they could be seen in a bad light. ” He didn’t say that B**** Julie,get her out” So I don’t agree that he was two faced at all. Colleen has been sneaky and stirring with her actions and now Julie has gone I wish she would just shut up and stop the poor me routine.
Harvey has become too arrogant for me Ashley nice enough lad but for an Olympian he doesn;t set a good example by drinking and smoking. The sit. has grown on me,he can be funny at times. Julian and Martin have disappointed in not living up to their hype but fro me if one of them wins I’ll be happy.
