Julian Clary, born in 1959, is a comedian and television personality.
As a teenager, his eldest sister Frances influenced Julian, she was starting her career as a Tiller Girl and Julian was fascinated with the illusion created by her heavy make-up.
Julian studied Drama and English at Goldsmith’s College, University of London in 1978. He said his time at university was liberating and he could finally be who he wanted to be as he was with people with similar dramatic interests.
After graduating Julian began working on the cabaret circuit in the early 80′s. His act was known as ‘The Joan Collins Fan Club,’ which comprised of himself and sidekick pet Fanny the Wonderdog.
As part of Total Big Brother’s ‘Back to Win’ app, the results from our members came true as Julian, the most backed housemate on the Total Big Brother website won.
On leaving the Big Brother house Julian got a loud cheer and praise from the crowds while fireworks were sparking off in the background.

Alec in the trade they are in I would think that they know that they cannot be liked by everyone, I am sure he wouldnt worry. He has so much love given out to him from the public that he has to be one of the best winners ever.

Yes JUJU were great together, hope they do a show together like Julian said on BOTS . I see paddy and sally from cbb last year have a series together, maybe JUJU could be hotel inspectors or something?
Cant make head nor tale of that one Paddy and Sally, they both have partners so do they live together or is it just for show? Havent watched it at all.
I as you know, would rather see Julian on his own or maybe with Coleen. I can still see a link with him and Mike, they didnt get on in the beginning but as Julian said, he learnt that he had to give people a chance. Mike and J are both popular in their own rights. Would love to see that. His new name for Mike “The Occasional Table” could have been shortened to TOT, such is the way of the world, we could go on forever and then forget the original name

I have only just noticed the cleft on Martin’s chin, there was a moment with one of his impressions that I thought he looked like Kirk Douglas. Who knows eh maybe he is related.

The final show a bit disappointing. too much emphasis by the presenters on themselves and not enough on the hm’s. It’s supposed to be CBB not the Jamie and Emma show !!! Just too too much, got embarrassing at times.
Was good to see Lorenzo again though. Looking even more handsome than he did in the house. Wonder if he and Danica had more than ‘lunch’ the other day???

I have never seen Big Brother before. I’m so tired of all these ‘reality’ shows that when I heard of BB I just rolled my eyes. But when my sister told me Julian was in it, I was interested. This was my second time seeing him in anything. First time was in QI, and barely spoken a word i was smitten. I must say gay men are not my thing, but with Julian, you can only see a classy handsome man. He deserved to win imo.

I am so glad for Julian. He was a worthy winner. Although there were housemates which I was not keen on, I enjoyed watching all of them. Glad Coleen was runner up – she deserved it. I do agree Irene, I also would have liked Lorenzo to have been in the final 6 instead of Harvey.
Oddschecker had it correct until they got to Martin, according to them he should have been second although having said that, Coleen and Martin were alternating on and off for quite a while whilst Julian once he got there, stayed at the top. Coleen was lucky that the alternative was in her favour but i think she deserved it.

SAMMYVAN: Yes it is sad now it is all over. I have never been on a site like this before and speaking to people I don’t even know. I don’t understand facebook and tweeting but accidently managed to get onto this site and got hooked. There are a lot of nice poeple and I have enjoyed their very different interesting views.

Sally and Microsis Paul Dannan has been in other reality shows. I think one was about a farm and another was on an island – can’t remember their names though. He will be a very entertaining , volatile and controversial housemate – especially when alcohol is involved.
He is a right womaniser. 
Orchid yes that’s the chap gets a bit worse for wear in the drink.
.If he is in the next CBB .Maybe he has grown up a bit he could be quite funny aswell. 
Ahh I wish Olover Reed and George Best were still with us – They would make great housemates.

Orchid…Paul Danan was in Hollyoaks, then on Celebrity Love Island and then he did a programme with Calum Best and Fran Cosgrove traveling along Route 66 in USA, Good viewing..
He has also been on other reality TV shows ,,Date my girlfriend, The Farm….
so it would be no surprise to see him in the next CBB…

Danica, after a blazing row with her boyfriend of three months has walked out on him. Apparently one of the magazines has offered Lorenzo and Danica a show page and I think it is called The Prince and the Princess. Romantic eh but I wonder if they will stick with each other. They are now classed as a couple and D. is going away with him. Good luck to them I say they will find out who is playing whom or they will make it and it will be a Grace Kelly fairy tale.
Coleen says that J. is still bitching about her in the hotel behind her back after telling her that she loved her, kissing her and saying that paranoia was rife in the house
I do not think they will ever agree so they are better apart but, will it effect both their standings in the celebrity community?
Jasmine is still after Rhiann….Julian has said that he doesnt know about what happened with J behind his back, his love has been for the way they interacted together. He may have a shock when he sees the videos but he is such a loyal man that I believe he will stand by her. I think he has respect for Coleen though so that may be awkward. Their problem eh!!
Well they have all left now and I say good luck to them all one way or another they will each make their mark.

Also a story about Martin operations ,,he had two benign tumours in his head removed a few years back that left him with a metal plate in his scalp and controlled epilepsy ,,there’s so much we don’t know about the hms that go in cbb
I did know about Martin’s brain tumour and his metal plate, didn’t know whether or not it had come up during chats in the house though as I had missed so much of CBB at the start. Isn’t his wife, Shirley from Pepsi and Shirley? I think so. That’s been a long marriage then, ahhh…
I didn’t know that about Martin. Also about Julie having two operations re cancer.
I admire the way they get on with there lives after such trauma.

I hadnt read about Martin’s operations, now in a sense that was good as he obviously didnt play on it for the sympathy vote bless him. What a thing to go through though and at such a young age with life before him.
We never do know about the other half and how they live. Trouble with the news as we know, we cannot always take it for gospel. xx

LOL that is the trouble isnt it Biddy, I have been reading the Star! Havent read anything else though so will take it with a pinch of salt. Jules It does make you wonder why a man like Lorenzo would go into CBB ,but remember he also did the bachelor looking for a relationship someone to love. With all that money he will be wary of gold diggers.
Maybe it is his way of introducing himself to the uk.
I hope he finds what he is looking for it would be a shame not to pass on his genes.

I have always liked Julian Clarey and was very pleased he won (hated the lipstick though!) – watched him on The Wright Stuff this morning while ironing. I was a bit surprised to be honest, he was a bit cagey in his opinions and didn’t seem to know quite a lot of general knowledge. I was surprised because he seems like an intelligent man, maybe he was just nervous. Pleased he won anyway.
Oh which channel is that on Fudge, will have to see if I can get catchup.

Thanks Fudge, will watch that. I once upheld Sally in a CBB challenge. A group of us got together put our names into a draw online, the HMs were numbered, we each had a number allotted to us before we knew who was going into the house. I had Sally.
Now she was out very quickly, I went on holiday and hey prestos she was up for noms and out before I could blink an eye
