This twist was previously used by Channel 5 in 2011, and attracted criticism from fans over Big Brother’s disregard for its own ‘no contact with the ouside world’ rule.
It will also be the latest in a run of consecutive nomination twists after Turf Wars in week 6, face-to-face nominations in week 7, plus last week when just one nomination would see a housemate automatically put up for eviction.
Today, housemates will watch one friend or family member nominate two others on their behalf while giving their reasons why.
Is this a good idea, or should Big Brother have left the nominations process alone this week?
love the idea…. but will the families go by what the others have said about their friend/family or will they go by who they dont like?…. hope luke A isnt up! hes the only decent one in there -.-
This is going to be interesting. I think that Conor is likely to be up. Becky and Lushleigh could also be in danger but the insiders could always get away with it this week as it is 5 on 4 and Luke A and Deana could face each other.
i think that they will vote tactically, the insiders families will vote for the good guys to be up because they know that they are a threat to thier precious bully children at the final. Bad move BB. Hopefully everyone will have some guts and say exactly what they think of the bullies, watch the fireworks, Conor will kick off.

Hi Microsis. I am not a fan of the F & F nominations, even though, realistically, it could favour the outsiders. Have a horrible feeling that even if the F & F have seen the nasty behaviour in the house, seen Conor targeting Deana day after day, they will probably still vote for their little darlings! I live in hope that Sara and Scott’s F & F will be on side with the outsiders…..but not holding my breath! Noms should not be messed with – its a BB golden rule.[or was!]

It was outrageous that the evening before nominations, Alice bloody Levine put the boot into the outsiders and didn’t say a bad word about the insiders. Even if that’s how this smug so called presenter feels, she should be neutral and show all sides. I’m not watching BOTS until Emma is back.

Nah it will be back, people are people and we all say things we shouldn’t at times. BB can’t and shouldn’t have control of what people say in there.
The word “BULLYING” gets over used now, BB have always had gangs, although this has been one of the worst years – It’s for the viewers to decide if we think this behaviour is exceptable or not.
Caroline was a truly vile person, but she got what was coming to her, people now know she is a person whom should never be trusted.

Just watched this episode on catch up and cannot believe that the bullys still have the upperhand! The under dogs or soldiers , as they called themselves, get my vote all the way!
