For passing this week’s BBTV shopping task, the group were provided with music, food and drinks on Tuesday evening. When the older housemates went to bed however, they were left annoyed when Ashley, Harvey and Mike continued to be noisy, and Harvey even flashed his bum.
The trio retreated to the garden this morning where Harvey asked: “I’ve been here for 20 days. I’m going to let my hair down, ain’t I?”
“Let your hair down and let it all hang out,” suported Mike.
In the living area meanwhile, Julie put the behaviour down to alcohol and Julian complained: “Harvey was aggressive when he showed his bum.”
“I thought it was a bit disrespectful, especially for you guys (the older housemates),” agreed Martin. “I thought he crossed the line of having a laugh and having respect.”
Later on in the morning, Harvey approached Martin, saying: “I class you as my friend in here and I respect you when you talk to me. I understand people have had a moan about me earlier which is fine, but I’d rather speak to you.
“This is my point. I can handle my drink and I know my boundaries with people, and I wouldn’t do anything to Julie, Julian or yourself.”
Martin said: “Showing your a*** is banter, but showing your a***hole, especially to a woman (Coleen), is disrespectful.” Eventually Harvey accepted he may have crossed the line and thanked Martin for speaking to him.

Catkin I am inclined to agree with you, but I think she is possibly being just a little bit to in with them for comfort now. It is the last week and it may be her downfall.
For her sake she shouldnt have gone out into the garden and talked in the way she did. She has had fun with the older ones, I thought she was an all rounder but she has possibly forgotten that she is on camera and that no one has to vie for nominations now. Silly lady if she has. This is the very last hurdle and her misdemeanour will be shown on tomorrow nights show?

What does one describe as a low quality woman! I thought we were all equal with different views. The world revolves around different attitudes, different thoughts etc. etc. Who are we to judge what someone should do in their home life?
I hate it when one thinks they are better than another. There are things in life which we possibly wouldnt do but it does not make us any better than anyone else.

Jules, We are not all equal unfortunately , society has not evolved enough yet. However your earlier posts concerning Julie were littered with vindictive description , so i’m very surprised you should take the non judgemental approach at this stage.
its not a case of doing research, when people put them self in a game show like bb then we become the judges on their performance and i dont think it should involve bringing their family into play.what coleen said about it ts one thing she is his mother
It depends on how you look at things, I have never said that Julie was any lesser the woman. It isnt people that we dislike it is things which they do. Bearing this in mind we are all gulty of the same thing.
In my opinion Julie has been false, to me this puts out a negative vibe. It has caused tension in the house thus that tension has been repaid and she fell at the last hurdle.
If you read back over my posts you will see that I have said I fear for her at the age of 70 having to go back over her trials and tribulations which have been brought on by her own actions. At 70 we ought to be able to be at peace with ourselves.
Having said that though, it is obvious by her chat last night that she has been herself and therefore there is no need to worry about her having any recriminations.
You say that man isnt evolved enough but we have to begin somewhere and to me, we have to start with ourselves but we are all equal, just on different pathways of life.
These are just my views which I am entitled to, I appreciate yours. I think you are a young person, possibly 25? By the time you get to 70 you will understand a lot of things. If you are not that age I apologise. I do not apologise for my posts though. We will just have to beg to differ.
Oh dear, rather patronising Jules. My teenage daughter often has a far more acute insight into someone’s character than me. Age isn’t everything you know…!! I hope Nollaig isn’t put off commenting by this – he/she has put on some good posts over the past few weeks in my opinion, more ‘mature’ than many of the others

I agree totally what you say re the youngsters, I have 3 adult children, 7 grandchildren, two of which live with us. Without their wisdom I would be hopeless at a lot of things and I often have a laugh to myself at how easy that was!! The two girls are gems and they are pc experts!
To cut a long story short as I know I tend to go on to try and get my point over in a good manner, you will see that I told the young person that I appreciated his/her remarks, thus in no way was I being unkind to him/her. I answered the point raised about me.

FUDGE , thanks so much for the back up regarding the ageism and being patronised. I am an independent minded woman in my early 20s , it would be patronising and rather stupid for someone to hypothesize what my view would be at present ,let alone 70 , but i dismiss the idiom with the irrelevance it deserves .
Fair comment Nollaig, I stand corrected but it was you who said you would like to be like Ms. Goodyear when you are 70. I wouldnt want mine to be like her at all but of course each to their own. I think the next 45 years is a long time to say how you will be.
I am sorry you couldnt understand what I was trying to say. I have a grandson of 24 and he is an absolute treasure, my eldest granddaughter is 20 and we are a hoot together. We love philosophising and i take their criticism on board. After all, we learn from each other no matter what age we are. No more to be said other then wishing COLEEN good luck
Hi Fudge, going back to our chat on youngsters and children. As I have said we have two grandchildren living with us.
Now a couple of years ago when the youngest was about 10, I was trying to help her with her homework (arghhhhhhhh mistake!!!). I was saying to her “it should be like this”, “oh no” says she, “grannie you are wrong”. I still tried to get her to see it my way, then I double checked. I had to apologise to her because she was correct. After doing so she sweetly said to me “that is ok Grannie, just so long as you learnt something”…
Oh boy I didnt know how to stop myself from laughing. They are lovely and they are full of wisdom. We still have to be there to guide them to a certain extent, am finding this with the 15 year old, it is definitely an awkward age where they are feeling their feet.
What I love about them is, they have a lovely concept of what is right and what is wrong in life. They slip up as they are human but hopefully they will realise a lot of things as they grow older. I always say we learn from each other.

I got lost a bit on that one Sal, I did wonder tbh if it would loose her public votes but it didnt. I thought she was wrong to say that she didnt like it so much with the elders.
On the other hand I do believe she is a homely woman and whereas with Denise Welch I couldnt watch Loose Women afterwards, if it is still on I will now wach it if Coleen is in it.
The public spoke in her favour and I loved her interview, she came across as so genuine.
I think Julian may have been a little bit hard on her with splashing that face stuff over her, he certainly did it with pressure. Now I wondered whether he did it for the benefit of JG? Only surmising and wondering as he really loves that woman.
Something I have also wondered, JG said she heard Coleen say “I bet a lot of people would like to put a pie in Bet Lynches face”. We werent shown that were we, but bearing in mind that it was Bet Lynch mentioned, wasnt she a bit of a so and so in Coronation St.?
If we think about it there are so many compilations we could put to a lot of things and with the limited edits as we know, we do not get the full stories.

Funny how a day can change perspectives , yesterday Coleen was an angel on here (why?) and Julie was public enemy no1 . Coleen is so fake with her pretend sincerity and phoney sentiment.
The digs have been there for Coleen since day one, I like her and will vote for her but I think with this last little thing she wont have done herself any good. As with Julie, she may collapse at the very last hurdle. It all depends on how the public think as we know.
