Denise has been crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2012 by the British public, it has been announced.
Denise Welch is an actress and television presenter whose career kick- started when she left London’s Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 1979. Although she has worked in theatre, Denise is probably best known for her career in television and has appeared in hit dramas such as Auf Wiedersehen Pet, Byker Grove, A Kind of Living and Spender.
Most recently, Denise is known for her four year long role in the highly successful drama, Waterloo Road. She is married to actor Tim Healy. They have two children.
23 days have come and gone with Denise fighting each and every day to survive, half way through at breaking point after an argument sparked between her and the Twins.
She will be best remembered for her arguments with Michael as well as her very opinionated personality, which led her to troubles at certain points.

Alec, have not seen the footage yet, but have heard that apparently Michael and whichever twin were actually talking and pointing at Mark who was wandering around semi-dressed as seems the norm now. Could that be true?

Hi Sammy have just popped in for a mo before I lay down my keys LOL…will pop into the chat room every so often though.
The thing which happened Denise was running Michael down to Emma (as usual) and he sort of grunted not looking at her though. She asked him if he was snoring, he told her to cool down or calm down. Another question was asked but Denise looked up and said “I think that is very rude of you Michael” he mouthed “I havent said anything” and sort of went caw (lol). The next thing she told him to F off. He must have then said something about drink because she said that he had drunk most of the drink in the house. I think she told him to F off twice. lol…..oh dear I am so glad I am not a celebtiry the trials and tribulations of it eh!!!
James came over and sat with Michael, I know he was dying to meet him. Even Gareth had his arms around Michael and I saw him Gareth say something when Denise was at the table where she still carried on making Michael look small. She told Emma that she would give him the piss drink.
Ah well as I have said maybe Emma and Brian shouldnt have brought their spats up knowing how fragile Denise seems. Thereagain they all love the rows so what can we expect eh!!!

On Weds BB fixed who they wanted in the final by suddenly closing the lines. The next day you saw footage prior to the final vote that could have easily changed people’s minds on who they’d vote for. Some how Denise won, by doing virtually nothing other that getting pissed, arguing and showing herself up. We watched every bit of this years show, but once we knew Denise had won we didn’t even bother to watch the rest… I guess we should have realised the writing was on the wall when Natalie was mysteriously voted ***
Hi PGS I agree. It’s mystifying how Denise won.Nearly every sentance that came out of her gobby mouth began with ‘I’ I turned off as soon as Gareth left, because although I had begun to like Frankie, I didn’t feel he deserved to win, but then neither did Denise.
Jenny, I did the same. Gareth was the only true winner of the last 3.

It is a sad thing tbh Kate but I guess she will survive so it isnt any good worrying about her. She has already given two interviews in the papers non repentent of anything. So some will say what did she have to repent, I would say nothing it was a gameshow and she won. I always say let the best man/woman win regardless but I dont really think she had a game plan tbh she just didnt like it because she wasnt accepted by all. I agree Biddy. He couldn\’t bear not to be centre of attention for 5 minutes. Whether he agreed with her winning or not isn\’t the point. Whoever won deserved the common decency of being listened to – he was affected the audience\’s enjoyment too. But, no, way too self-centred to appreciate that.
Hi ya Fudge love, there are a lot who would disagree with you but the point is now they have all been released, they are out. lol. There is a lot of news being thrown around re Denise and I cant stand the woman but…..she should now be allowed to live her own life. When we stood up for them in the house, we were supporting them to win, it was a bit of fun.
I will now be interested to see what happens, I hope that we see Michael on some chat shows, I know for sure that we will see Denise wriggling around.
Frankie and Kirk are going to set up a *** pad in the vein of Hugh Hefner, the twins have been invited to start their own show, it is going to be called Double something or another lol. I shall be watching that and I hope that they are successful.
Out of all of this I feel really sorry for Denise’s husband but there we are I have no doubt that he will plod along with it.
Whatever will be will be and I still say well done Michael, he didnt have to win, he has a lot of support on line. As I said before he had every right to walk out of that interview, all she did was to squirm making excuses for herself. Defelcting her own bad behaviour. He didnt, he was a gentleman and stayed.
That is my take on it all and love, I will leave it at that, I think we all have to now and just see what happens with them all. We each have our likes and dislikes and that is the way it should be.
ps Fudge Michael wasnt the only one who was chatting, there was quite a good bit of commotion going on for one reason or another. Perhaps they were bored with Denise’s non stop chatter? Emma really let some of the so called celebrities take over this year, she really has to have a stronger hold on it all.

Michael is ok Curtis, the twins are fascinating and they love UK, apparently. They are going to set up their own show. As I have said Frankie and Kirk are going to set up their own little s e x pad. Oh boy………..there are some great pictures of the pair of them sloshed….I think now it was a good job Frankie didnt win!! He is his own man regardless. Oh and he has made great friends with the twins…mmmm

I am wondering whether Michael will be on LW I see Natalie Cassidy is on today. The one in charge had good command of the programme as Denise went on to make excuses for herself by trying to belittle another HM. As she said the others werent there to stand up for themselves.
Denise still had to make reference to Michael to deflect the negativity away from herself. Oh dear Denise, win gracefully and now think over what you have done because sadly I think she will have to. I wish her luck because she has a lot of things to get over. The public are split with their views and I think this will be a great thing for her to have to think about as she wants to be popular with all.

Hi Micro, was it off mmm. Have just watched it on line. Denise was late supposedly to do with the trains. It was said that she got there by motorbike, she didnt have makeup on and is missing a tooth as shown in the papers.
She is a loose cannon and many think her antics are funny but will it do her any good? xx
On the show Micro Denise appeared with a tooth out on the side of her mouth. She says that she left it in Big Brother and hadnt had chance to get it back. I am sure she had her full set at her interviews so I wonder where in the BB did she leave it. It would have been the first thing I got back tbh. I have no doubt that the tooth will be told the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth……lol time will tell eh

Apparently it’s a fly-on-the-wall series following their day to day lives in the UK. Gosh, that should be interesting. Another show that will be cancelled after one series. Oh, yes, and they are doing a fitness DVD. Don’t know if they mention the botox injections though….ummm…..
Yes Fudge there were two or three of them in there who had Botox injections. How awful though not to be able to move ones face and then to have to dive to get another injectionas soon as the eyebrows start moving. I had a good laugh at that one, let the wrinkles come. Some of these so called celebrities look so wooden with their faces and they loose their natural beauty. It is all the rage with the SGC these days. I wonder what effects it will have in later life though when the skin catches up with age?
I personally think that due to their appearance on BB the show will take off, they had quite a good fanbase regardless of what anyone thought of them here. They were favourites in the forums for a long time, it was the pantsgate thing which was their undoing and yet Denise began that and Nicola carried it on. Lot of different views about it all, it is interesting to see what people think.

so sad…….we are what we are and we have to accept ourselves for what we are and then to make the best of it to allow others to accept us as well. If not we stay on our own wallowing in our own misery. Life gets complicated eh but I am sooooooo glad I am not a so called celebrity….. 
Hi Jules, actually I thought \’pantsgate\’ did Denise a huge favour. Up until then I saw her as an irritant who couldn\’t hold her drink. Afterwards she appeared to be the underdog, when the others ganged up on her. I can\’t speak for the British public, but if that hadn\’t happened she may not have won.
I agree totally with you Jenny, if we think about it even though she had arguments with Michael Denise was still at the bottom of the league. Michael and the twins were the most popular around the forums, they were top of most polls. After pantsgate Denise went up and others went down lol..Some say that the british are suckers for the underdog. Many didnt see her as the underdog though but she had enough votes to win. Natalie, who is still saying she hates the twins (sour grapes imo lol) was out after just one nomination.
Can we have some more diffucult tasks in the summer, maybe some to keep them up all night. Big Brother has gone soft and should make them pay dearly for flouting the rules. Also the odd instant eviction makes it more unpredictable.
