With a career that spans 25 years and over 170 films, award winning Michael Madsen is entering the house straight from Hollywood.
Michael’s career began when he served as an apprentice under screen icon John Malkovich and since then he has gone onto work with the likes of Johnny Depp, Al Pacino, Uma Therman and Susan Sarandon.
As well as central roles in huge Hollywood blockbusters – including Free Willy, Donnie Brasco and Kill Bill – Michael has also appeared in a host of independent films. His most memorable role as sadistic ex-con Mr Blonde in Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs was critically acclaimed and saw his career and status rocket to super stardom.
He has since gone onto appear in the Bond film, Die Another Day and Sin City. On his successful career, Michael says: “I like to diversify. And I am all about longevity. I want to be doing this for as long as I can.”
Although he has huge film credits to his name, Michael always found time to succeed in his other passions, which include writing poetry and his works have been published to international success.
He was tempted to go into the Celebrity Big Brother house by his co-star and ex-CBB housemate, Vinnie Jones who he became great friends with when filming Magic Boys in 2009.

Probably my favourite HM so far. Really relaxed and grounded. Doesn’t take his fame too seriously and seems to be the most witty guy in there along with maybe Gareth. Think Michael will do well if he can hack it. I get the general vibe that he couldn’t care less which isn’t a bad thing when you contrast him with a guy like Andrew who is just looking to use the experiance as a launchpad, hence his constant anxiety about his image and the way he portrays himself. I loved Mike’s cheeky comment to Natasha when he admitted to being sexually aroused by her. Seems like a ladies man through and through. The money sucking Leach that is Natasha however, surely would be more than willing to suck the life out of a star like Michael. The only one with any real claim to fame in there in my opinion.
I agree Mouse, about Natasha I mean. She’s already stated that she wants to stay in touch with Michael, because of the people he could introduce her to. From Natasha’s track record of adultery if I were Michael’s wife I’d be a little worried about now.
I’d have Michael out of there, and away from Natasha, so fast his feet wouldn’t touch ground!

Sadly your words did not apply to Nicola because she was prejudged before she went in the house. No thought was given as to whether or not she had changed. It is human nature to carry things over.
To me I prejudged Denise and Natalie before they went into the house but I was sorely disappointed with them, just my views.

This is only speculation, and I know Denise is a married lady, but I think she is attracted to Michael and because he’s not paying her any attention she has a go at him, in a bid to grab some attention, even if it is negative.
Hi Jenny, we can only speculate eh, you may be right but also as commented by Natalie the other day, they could be hoping for greater things if they see themselves as actresses. Michael will have many friends which perhaps they would love to meet to secure a better future for themselves. Cant tell eh but I do believe Denise has gone the wrong way about it, she is selling herself too hard. I did like her as well.
Was pleased to see her overdoing it with being nice to him and I loved his tender touch of moving her hair out of her eyes lol…A true actor, saw him in a film last night he was quite good looking.
Jules, the nomination results are out and its Georgia against Michael. Somehow I feel Denise and Nat have been casting their spells! Am so going ot have to get voting now – Michael has to stay.
I can’t stand him. He is so two faced. He cames over as a silly person. In fact like an old washer woman. I know Denise is a lot to handle, but the way he talks about her makes him sound like a right *****.
and the way Denise talks about Michael? Ditto….she desperately wants him to agree with her and because he doesnt bow down to her she feels scorned. They could have been better friends had she done it a step at a time. It would have been great to see a bond there but it is too late now, they are just playing for time. Michael is the least two-faced housemate in there! Thats what has got him into trouble through the show – he tells them exactly what he thinks and spares nobody. Wish there were more like him. He has made this CBB watchable.

Ah but he wanted to be nominated, he had said so and he thanked them for doing it. Basically this is what the twins said they were going to nominate him for, they had to give other reasons but that is what they said first of all. He got his wish. Maybe now he feels he can just sit back and enjoy the last possible days. I think the very fact that he wants to go should make us want to keep him in just for punishment lol.
We cant have it all ways he is human and it was great to see him trying to get on with Denise. He may feel that he doesnt want her to think she was the cause of his demise, which of course she is. He may want her to enjoy the rest of the days in there without feeling guilty. To pass out bridges is good.
We have to remember that he has had cause to be grumpy and it has been instantaneous when he has been “attacked” by Denise for whatever reason she has done so. I dont blame him for wanting to get out of her grasp but hope that he stays. Why should he heave to put up with it, he doesnt have any concerns about the others….Denise has done a lot of stirring for him.

he has 5 sons, I always wanted boys, I wonder what sort of life they had with their father being so famous. Just imagine the glory of hollywood and all the historic value it gives. So many sad stories of actresses and actors, such a lot of misbehaviour. Naturally there have been success stories as well.
To me to give something of value to the public and to make others happy is a great gift. He is truly a celebrity of worth.
And he’s a poet too. That’s one of the reasons I like Michael. There’s so much more to him than meets the eye and unlike some of the ‘celebs’ in there he doesn’t brag about his achievements.
Could’nt be happier that Michael is still in the house – and the twins! This is one of the first CBB that the public have not evicted the interesting HM’s early in the series. Great that we will have something to watch till the final – - I hope?

Micheal is a bully, he is always trying to cause arguments with the women in the house, not just Denise. Georgia and Natalie as well. He makes nasty comments about Denise yet he is the one who spends half of his time walking around the house talking to himself. He is not interested in anyone in the house, only himself. He is coming across very badly. Get him out.
Loved him singing kareoke, loved him cuddling Denise. Havent seen him bullying anyone he has put his views forward the same as everyone else. Loved his letter from home, so full of love. Loved him helping Frankie to shave. Loved him on a few of the youtube videos, loved him……..aw well I guess I just love him….
Michael to win, he has gone back to second favourite on OChecker. The four in danger on Wednesday are Nicola, Denise, Twins and Romeo in that order. As said though we cant always go by the bookies as we know and it changes from hour to hour at times.

It’s a shame he didn’t take Natalie’s advice at the start when she said that everyone is the same, no one is better than anyone else. If he does win they’re not going to be able to get him out as his head isn’t going to fit through the door.
To me he hasnt shown any signs of agrandiousment,(wow is that a new word?) he asked that Denise let him alone which she didnt. Tbh I cannot see anyone of them thinking they are any better than the others. Although Natalie was not a good representation of that which she said, her ego was great.

Now tbh I think there is a love hate relationship going on there and I am willing to bet that Denise and Michael will be the best of friends. Denise really likes him but she has felt spurned because he didnt respond to her, thus all the aggro has been caused.
Had everyone else stayed out of it and took a neutral ground, instead of just standing up for Denis, the pair of them would have been good friends before now. Hopefully they have made it up permanently and they will enjoy their last days.

Going back to ordinary BB, it is going to be far better. With the celebrities it is obvious that a few of them are well known for one thing or another. They have their outside friends in the so called celebrity world, thus when they come onto the sideshows they are going to stick up for their friend in the house regardless of whether they are in the right or not.

Aw Anon, as I have said none of us can be sure of what is exactly going through any of the HMs heads but I love the way Michael seems to keep a diary on all things. He has everything susssed out, if we think about it, I am sure whether we like him or not, we have to agree. I am sure that if he wants to win he should realise that he mustnt do these things, he should follow like a lamb to others.

Anon, I cant find the post whereby you say (if you are the same Anon and I am sure you are) that the Aaron posters are changing their scruples this time. Now tbh there arent any Aaron posters who are following Michael, not sure of one or two, they are more for Denise and Frankie I believe. Fair dos, it is a game after all and it makes good debates and it wouldnt do for us all to agree every time. It may be different the next time, who knows.

If we can go by Oddschecker, they had one right tonight, the twins have crept up a place and knocked Michael down to 5th place. We have Frankie, Gareth, Denise, Twins and then Michael. Tonights vote will have done them good.
Today we have Denise in second place, knocking Gareth down to third. Twins fourth with Michael in great danger of being the next one out. It will be interesting to see what he has to say about the others tbh. I think he will stand by Gareth and will want Frankie to win.
For Sammy, I agree with you totally Michael isnt two faced, he has put his views forward the same as everyone else. If he were two faced he wouldnt have told Denise to please lay off. He wouldnt have asked Natalie to mediate (ha! ha!).
Had Denise and Michael not been put in the same house together, it could have been different for each of them. He would have had a far better chance, possibly Denise would have latched on to someone else who knows eh but it is her final argument with Nicola which has gained her popularity, she didnt have it so much before.
Have just read on another forum, but naturally I do not know if it is true, voting has been restricted on facebook. They are suggesting that it is to other countries if so that leaves the Americans out in the cold altogether. Also that forums are taking out any detrimental threads re Denise. Wonder what is a foot? I wonder if it is truth or just heresay, I saw the notice re facebook.
If this is true then BB or other reality shows shouldnt ask our fellowmen to take part. We have got our favourites to the final and perhaps we cannot go any further. If we as Brits do this type of thing what can we expect from other countries?
Personally I love a mix as we can learn from others, we can savour some of their culture and if it were a good house, which this one isnt, the HMs could learn from each other. Sadly the portion of the public shown in the side shows and other avenues, prefer the fights and disharmony.

Went back into the forum Sam and it was a Canadian person who wrote and entered the piece. He/she was complaining that he/she had bought votes and had been using (I think I have got that right) them then all of a sudden he/she had a notice come up. He/she had to go another way around it to avoid his/her IP no. There was an explanation but I am not to good on these things so I do not know how he/she avoided it. Seems genuine enough and the notice was official. xx

Kate, I dontr think anyone could spend three weeks in that madhouse and not exit looking at life differently. I guess Michael, so completely different from the others, has had to learn to adapt, to compromise and try and get on with completely disparate housemates. Gareth took to the gym, Romeo spent time alone looking deep in thought. Defence mechanism? Maybe he has also learnt that we are really quite a weird bunch!!

Jules, that’s my point, the HMs shouldn’t be pre-judged. Look back over the posts and you’ll see I was one of the few who said that, while I was hearing nasty things about Nicola and things she said before she went in, as far as I was concerned, whilst she was in the house, she wasn’t too bad, not as bad as some (twins) anyway as she often voiced her criticisms directly to the recipient, albeit bluntly.
I have judged all the HMs on how they have been in there – the ‘Americans’ included, whilst acknowledging from my experience that there are vast cultural differences generally. Two cultures divided by the same language! Never seen a film with Michael in so that doesn’t influence me. Sometimes I find him funny, most of the time I find him selfish and moody verging on aggressive. Didn’t know of the twins either before they came in the house. Their attitude and arrogance makes me sick to the core.
Yes, we knew Frankie a little before and he has clearly matured, but again I’m just judging on what I see now – someone who stood up in adversity to three shrieking hysterical women – quite a feat. Same with Denise, didn’t feel strongly either way before, now I can understand her and her emotions more than I would ever be able to on the outside world through Loose Women.
I just try to be fair and honest.

The same as I do Fudge but my point is this, if anyone has taken a liking to Michael there are cds and pieces on the net for them to have a look at. The show is over today. I cannot find the post I was initially answering but I felt that the person who wrote it was judging all Americans and downing them. This is the post you picked me up on, my reply. I am dead against people putting others all in the same barrel when we know that this is not so. The same as the “low life” remarks, who is to say who is low life, such ego on the part of the poster.
I can understand where Denise is coming from she needs desperate help but I do not think that she has the right support in there inasmuch as most have sided with her against Michael and now Nicola who told the truth about their feelings. Imo Denise wont be a better woman for it because the majority will be fawning over her and giving her sympathy but she began it all. Romeos words said it all last night when he was asked about the disuputes between Denise and Michael, he said he felt that Michael was at fault but then he faltered and answered but he had not seen anything. No because he was standing up for Denise and going by her word. imo.
We will just have to disagree and I say once again the cds tell a story of another humanbeing who has gone through the trials and tribulations of life.
I am looking forward to listening to Michaels interview tonight, I think he may be first out but I am going to give him some more votes. The twins have gained more favour in some of the forums. One or two polls show that they are the favourite to win. Oddschecker says differently.
It doesnt matter who wins tbh as they have all made the final 5, a great achievement, especially for the Americans who do not have such a fanbase over here and may have to rely on their own people voting. Pssst and me and one or two others

Have just had a look on Oddschecker again and the twins have gone to being favourites to be first out tonight. Michael has gone up to fourth with Gareth third, Denise second and Frankie as the winner still. Not sure how to read the odds but his seem to be the same in each bookies. Cant remember ever seeing that before.
Even though he is a Yank I still quite like Michael but would probably prefer either Gareth or Frankie to win.

I honestly dont know Fudge. I know that in one forum a Canadian person wrote saying that his/her IP had been refused on the FB voting system. He/she had to go another way around it to hide
the IP….not sure what this person meant tbh, but it was definitely said with a notice shown as well. I cant see how they can stop people buying on FB. According to this person he/she had been buying the credits and was suddenly told that he couldnt use anymore? I question it myself as I dont really know.
I think it is bad of us Brits if we do not allow voting from other countries if we ask our fellowmen to appear on our shows. Many love the greater aspects of the film world and alike.
What? It’s a British show that is watched by the British public – thus WE should decide.
Is 1 housemate getting voted a 1000 times off 1 person a more deserving winner than say a housemate who get’s 1 vote each off 999 people?
I honestly don’t understand this logic, how can that be right and just?
Are 10 filthy rich peoples votes -who can afford to spend ÂŁ1000′s to makes sure a housemate of their choosing wins better and more worthy than 1000′s of average working class people who may only cast a vote or 2?
MONEY SHOULDN’T WIN OVER THE MOST POPULAR – The person who is liked by the most people should win everytime – What can be fairer than that.
It is all about money and the powers that be are going to get it the best way they can. They dont really worry about the HMs, look at the twists and turns to bring inmates down. Also there is the betting side, if one puts in large bets then that one is going to vote over and over again for their choice. It doesnt really matter about the HM…look how the sideshows bring the occupants down. Biased most of the time to their own favourites and their own backing.
I hope this is the last time BB put siblings in, everyone should be on their own without a sister or brother in – It gives them a huge advantage in knowing that they will always have support in there, ruins the dynamic.
You could be right there, I was never in favour of them bringing in partners etc. On the other hand the so called celebrities know each other before they go in, they have had ups and downs and buddy chats. They have their covering outside with the celebrity cliques that form. Bearing this in mind they then have more support.
BB is much better as the majority are unknown.
Yes I think BB has more chance of being fairer – It’s a real shame if the winner isn’t the housemate who have the most fans.
In the earlier seasons even though I didn’t alway’s like the winner – I could always accept they were the most liked.
I worry facebook could start giving us unjust winners, people could speculate to accumalate.
I mean it would be worth spending a few ÂŁ1000 on yourself because if you win it’s worth 50 times that.
